Big Small Spaces is an interior design studio founded by Interior Architect Rula Saba in 2020. The studio offers an array of e-design services, including virtual consultations, allowing collaboration on residential projects worldwide. Big Small Spaces is all about maximising space and budget through clever spatial planning and carefully considered furniture choices, creating rooms that are both functional and beautiful.

As an Interior Architect and Designer, I’ve got a passion for bright and modern spaces. I’m also a huge believer that the perfect home can come in any size and be achieved on any budget.

My focus is on decluttering homes, and I adhere to the idea that if you are thoughtful in your choices and surround yourself only with things you love AND need, the right design will fall into place.

I aim at providing my clients with solutions that are tailored to their needs and make living in any space hassle-free, so that coming home feels like a getaway, every day.

A Little More About Me...

Since completing my degree in Interior Architecture in 2013, I have worked on several large-scale office designs for well-known multinational companies in Switzerland, as well as several commercial spaces. I have recently shifted my focus to residential interiors, my true passion. I’m a huge fan of Scandinavian Design, natural light, and cute boxes in all sizes.

A proud Third Culture Kid, I’m of Palestinian origin, grew up in New Jersey, spent my teenage years in Israel, and completed my university studies in Switzerland, picking up languages and styles along the way. I completed a B.A in Media Communications in 2005 and went on to obtain a B.A in Interior Architecture in 2013.

I currently reside in Israel, and in addition to working on Big Small Spaces and other interior design projects, I enjoy spending lots of quality time with my 3 young nephews and nieces. I also still travel often to Geneva where I maintain strong ties with former clients and old friends.
